With the acquisition of Hagelids Lastvagnsservice in Helsingborg, Malte Månson now adds another facility in Skåne.
"Hagelids gives us access to a competent workshop with great development potential and the best possible location in the Ättekulla industrial area", says Staffan Lindewald, CEO Malte Månson.
Helsingborg is ranked as Sweden's second best logistics location, after Gothenburg. Hagelids has been a well-established workshop for more than 30 years, with a good reputation and many loyal and satisfied customers.
"With operations in the expansive city of Helsingborg, there are good opportunities to quickly implement a continued focus on high quality and accessibility, fully in line with Malte Månson's overall strategy", explains Staffan Lindewald.
The plan is to further broaden the range of services and bring in new expertise. Work on renovating and expanding the workshop will therefore begin immediately, which will involve the immediate recruitment of more mechanics as well as administrative staff.
With the acquisition of Hagelids and the recent purchase of Gottes in Gothenburg, Malte Månson's position
as Sweden's largest independent workshop chain for commercial vehicles has been further strengthened.
"For the coming year, we are budgeting for sales of around SEK 300 million, which means that we will more than double our workshop turnover since 2018, while strengthening profitability even further," says Staffan Lindewald.
Malte Månson's takeover of Hagelids Truck Service is scheduled for 1 November.
