Malte Månson has today signed an agreement to acquire Skandinaviska Buss och Truck AB (SBTAB) with closing on September 1.
SBTAB currently operates three workshops in Söderhamn, Edsbyn and Sundsvall, where it is also a dealer of the Mercedes truck program.
With the acquisition, Malte Månson gains an additional 40 reputable employees. SBTAB is authorized to service Mercedes-Benz trucks and vans, VDL buses and EVO buses. In addition to Mercedes truck service, the workshop in Söderhamn also offers service for Mercedes transport and passenger cars, all-car service for all truck brands and trailers, construction machine service and a well-equipped bus workshop.
The workshop in Sundsvall offers, in addition to sales and service of the Mercedes truck program, also all-car service for all truck brands, service of heavy transport refrigeration and specializes in trailer repairs.
With the skills Malte Månson's workshop chain will gain this fall, they are pleased with the acquisition:

The key people in SBTAB will continue in their roles and have also chosen to reinvest a large part of the purchase price in the Malte Månson Group:

With the acquisition of SBTAB, the Malte Månson Group will consist of 30 workshops with an annual turnover of approximately 800 million. Closing is scheduled for September 1 and is subject to customary review by the relevant authorities.
Malte Månson is Sweden's largest independent truck repair chain. The number of employees in the group amounts to approximately 300 employees and the annual estimated at just over SEK 600 million. Malte Månson workshops are located in 24 locations with 27 facilities.
Skandinaviska Buss & Truck AB (SBTAB) is authorized for service & repair of Mercedes-Benz trucks, buses, vans and cars. The company currently has 30 employed technicians, three units and is the largest workshop of its kind in Norrland.
The turnover is estimated to be around 200 MSEK for 2024.
