Malte Månson expands: double up in Stockholm

Malte Månson acquires Södersidans Lastbilsverkstad in Skogås in southern Stockholm. With the acquisition, Malte Månson's capacity continues to increase.

"We have advanced our market positions and are now Scandinavia's largest independent workshop chain for heavy transport equipment," says Staffan Lindewald, CEO of Malte Månson Holding.

Södersidans Lastbilsverkstad is a well-known MAN-authorised workshop with 14 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 30 million.

"A year ago, we acquired Hylast in Jordbro, which means that we now have two workshops in Stockholm and 13 more around Sweden," says Staffan Lindewald.

"The acquisitions are fully in line with our previously stated ambition: to offer our customers the best availability and quality by being the clear market leader in our market".

Frasse Andersson is CEO of Södersidans Lastbilsverkstad and has purposefully built on the business started by Tommy Hjelm in 1985.

"When the decision was made to sell the plant, the choice of a new owner was easy," explains Frasse Andersson.

"Malte Månson has a long history of well-managed workshops with competent employees in the country. Now we will be part of a larger group with substantial resources, which means that we can continue to guarantee our customers the best possible service."
