Digital developments in the transport sector are moving very fast.
Business patterns are changing and Budi is a pioneering player that has launched online auctions for buying and selling trucks and heavy vehicles via digital channels.
"A new collaboration between Budi and Malte Månson means that we now jointly benefit from digitalisation, which creates opportunities for valuable growth," says Staffan Lindewald, CEO of Malte Månson.
"We can now offer Malte Quality Check (MQC) condition tests and a wide range of workshop services for the vehicles sold via Budi's digital platform - all to ensure the quality and safety of the cars sold via Budi's digital platform."
Budi Auctions launched its digital marketplace for used trucks, heavy vehicles and ancillary equipment in August 2020.
"We offer a new full service that fills a big gap in the transport industry," explains Johannes Winberg, marketing manager and co-owner of Budi.
"It's important that both buyers and sellers can do profitable and easy business digitally and also extend the life cycle of existing products."
Initially, Malte Månson will offer his services to Budis customers at six locations in the country: Gävle, Stockholm, Örebro, Linköping, Gothenburg and Helsingborg. In practical terms, the cooperation means that the facilities are the physical marketplaces, where the change of ownership takes place in connection with the fitness test.
If the seller wants something done before the sale or the buyer before delivery, these workshop services, which also include bodywork and hydraulics, can be carried out at the time of sale.
"We are now looking forward to working with Budi and developing this brand new digital service in the market, which I am sure will be appreciated by hauliers and professional vehicle owners", concludes Staffan Lindewald.
