Malte Månson and Fassi Sverige AB have signed a national cooperation agreement for the aftermarket of Italian Fassi cranes, both for trucks and for stationary use.
The agreement also includes Malte Månson taking over Fassi's operations in Malmö. The takeover is effective from 1 April and also means that Malte Månson will leave his current workshop in Malmö and move into Fassi's premises in Arlöv.
"We now have a modern and adapted facility in the north of Malmö that gives us room for a planned expansion", says Staffan Lindewald, CEO of Malte Månson.
Fassi is an internationally recognised crane manufacturer that also offers a range of other truck attachments.
For Malte Månson, the plan is to offer a full range of service services for Fassi products at several of its 16 sites in the country.
"Over the past three months, we have invested heavily in developing our operations in southern Sweden. The complete and well-established facility in Kristianstad was joined last October by the acquisition of Hagelids Lastvagnsservice in Helsingborg and with the addition of the modern workshop in Arlöv, we will significantly increase our availability and capacity in Skåne", explains Staffan Lindewald.
Fredrik Ärlebo, incoming CEO of Fassi Sweden, sees great benefits from the new agreement.
"We are very happy to start working together," he explains.
"All Fassi employees are part of the new arrangement, which guarantees a safe transition for our customers."
"Both Fassi and Malte Månson are in a strong expansion phase in Sweden and now we can benefit greatly from our joint competences and thereby further increase the level of service to customers", concludes Fredrik Ärlebo.
