Malte Månson acquires Hylast AB in Jordbro in southern Stockholm, one of Sweden's largest brand-independent workshops for heavy vehicles.
-The acquisition brings additional quality, competent staff and availability to our group. Hylast also gives us a platform in the very important Stockholm region, says Staffan Lindewald, CEO of Malte Månson.
-"The acquisition is in line with our strategy to become the clear leader in our market within three years.
"We now cover the country's largest market area with a well-known workshop with around twenty professional mechanics who handle all makes of trucks," says Staffan Lindewald.
For the Group, the contribution will mean an increase in turnover of more than SEK 40 million on an annual basis. Hylast's strong brand will live on in the Group, simply because it signals quality in the industry
-"We are pleased that Malte Månson is taking over the baton and thereby guaranteeing our loyal customers that good quality and high service will continue to be offered," says Klas Andersen, CEO of Hylast.
Following the acquisition, the Malte Månson Group will have a total of 14 facilities in the country, covering the full range from light to heavy trucks and buses. The intention is to add even more in the future.
-Our expansion plans are very clear. We aim to be Sweden's leading company in the brand-independent market for trucks, large and small, within three years. The road to this goal will involve further strategic acquisitions of large, well-managed facilities with high customer satisfaction, says Staffan Lindewald.
